iPhone Girls

Product promotion has taken a new dimension with Apple introducing iPhone for the mass. No doubt the fine communication device has already become a highlight product amongst one and all. The product's branding managers should however, gain cues from the enticing image series. The point and shoot feature of iPhone 4 is pretty unique and there certainly could be more takers if iPhone is promoted in the manner as depicted.

However, there might be surge of such mirror point and shoot images on the Facebook profile pages too. The way it is depicted in the image might just make it a prime gadget among youth.

How Blind People Play Football

Pepsi is funding amazing ideas that refresh the world. Åkestam Holst and Society 46 created The Sound of Football to give visually impaired people a better football experience and maybe, in the future, create new aides that enable you to see with sound.

As a first test, we arranged a football match between a team of visually impaired players and a team of former professional footballers. We wanted to see how they would perform under equal conditions – in a match where no one can see. How it works: We used tracking technology, the same used at the latest FIFA World Cup. Through the system we can get the position of each player in real time on the football pitch. This information is then fed into an iPhone located on each player’s head and converted into binaural 3D sound. We created sounds for things important on the pitch like the nearest players, the ball and the goals. Through headphones each player can hear what is happening and get a sense of distance between things. And the sensors in the iPhone allow players to locate where the sounds come from when they move their head.

Leonardo da Vinci's iPhone

Long before Steve Jobs, someone with the name of Leonardo da Vinci designed something look familiar.

The steampunk mod meme is not going away as artist Kevin Tong continues the tradition with the iPhone. The iSteamPhone T-shirt presents the iPhone in a blown-apart presentation like you might find in a da Vinci sketch pad. Even the parts of the iPhone are vintage. Note the analog clock and what looks like a muffler in the center.

Official iPhone 4S Ads

You speak. Siri helps. Say hello to the most amazing iPhone yet.

This is the first TV official iPhone 4S commercial has just made its debut in the US. In this ads, it is all about Siri. Siri is intelligent no doubt, but considering its limited scope (limited support outside of US, limited language support) it might could just be another voice-recognition software.

The ad shows many situations where people are talking to their iPhone 4S, asking it specific questions or describing scenarios. At the end, Apple shows Siri responding, and ends with "Say hello to the most amazing iPhone yet."
